  • Ireland

    Hey guys,

So we finally made it to Ireland. I thought the plane ride was never going to end... I also thought the jetlag was never going to end after we landed, but I'm feeling much better now.

Ireland is absolutely gorgeous... I LOVE it! I keep saying... "This looks just like P.S. I Love You". :) I'm gonna try to get pictures up here sometime. Not sure when I'll have time.

Today we went into Waterford to shop and "see the sights". I was a little freaked out by everyone driving on the wrong side of the road, but I'm a bit of a crazy driver myself so it wasn't too unusual. ;) We got to tour a tower that was built in the 1003 a.d. and take lots of pictures. We also saw lots of really old churches, which were really cool. Then we went to a little cafe and got cappuccionos, lattes and espresso. :) Tomorrow we are supposed to go to Church, but I doubt we will because it is supposed to hail and snow tonight. Monday I think we are going to go cliff walking. (Picture the scene in the new version of "Pride and Prejudice" where Lizzie is standing at the edge of the cliff over the ocean with the wind in her hair and the sun on her face) And Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. we will be heading to Rome! Fun fun!

    Until next time...

Hi Rachel and Hannah, Glad your long trip went well and wonder if you're still in Rome! Hope you get to see the Pope--AND the Colosseum where Christians were martyred. Wish I could have fit into one of your bags... Love you both, Nana

I would like a few more reports and a lot more pictures, please! Don't forget to throw the correct number of coins in the fountain in Rome. Uncle Bobby
